Between the Brewers bombing out of the playoffs and the Packers' Love era falling sharply out of its honeymoon phase, Sconnie sports haven't been kind to us in the past week or two. But things are about to improve significantly as, beginning this month, the Milwaukee Admirals will take the ice once again for another chilling and thrilling season on the UWM Panther Arena rink – and hopefully another deep chase for the Calder Cup.

Indeed, last year's Admirals squad made it all the way Western Conference Finals round – one series away from the Calder Cup Finals, the team's furthest run since the 2005-06 season – before they were annoyingly extinguished by the Coachella Valley Firebirds. But starting this weekend, it's time for a new season and a new chance at ice-cold revenge – complete with several familiar faces from last year's squad, including Marc Del Gaizo, Mark Jankowski and more.

Don't recognize a single one of those proper nouns? Think that a zamboni is a delicious Italian sandwich, that icing is a cake topping and that a sieve is just a handy kitchen utencil? The Ads upcoming slate of games are still for you too. Yes, even if you're not a puckhead, the Admirals throw a great show at the UWM Panther Arena, between theme nights like a "Parks & Rec" and "Elf" evening, doggie days perfect for your puppo, postgame concerts from the likes of Tesla, the human hockey puck and more intermission entertainment, led by your enthusiastic game hosts (a roster this year including a certain local website writer).

With all that, the only thing left for you to know is when the team hits the ice. So, with no further ado, here's the full regular season schedule for the 20230-24 Milwaukee Admirals campaign, complete with promotional games and theme nights. (Home games are listed in bold.)

Matt Mueller Culture Editor

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
