The latest in Summerfest news came this morning, when the Big Gig announced the ninth headliner for Summerfest 2020 is blink-182 with special guests Coheed and Cambria, The Used and grandson.

The show takes place on Sunday, June 28 at the new American Family Insurance Amphitheater. Tickets go on sale on sale Friday, Feb. 28 at noon at Summerfest.com and Ticketmaster.com, or in person at the venue box office. Concert tickets include admission to Summerfest.

blink-182, originally called Blink, started in the California punk scene in the mid-90s and achieved mainstream success in the early 2000s when they scored five Top Ten albums and two number one Billboard 200 hits.

The current lineup includes Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba as the vocalist and guitarist, replacing founding and longtime member, Tom DeLonge.

In 2019, blink-182 released its ninth album, aptly titled "Nine."
