Festival City is hopping this summer! OnMilwaukee's Festival Guide is brought to you by Potawatomi Hotel & Casino. Escape the heat and step inside! 

It’s almost time for the 49th Annual Cedarburg Wine & Harvest Festival, which will take place Saturday, Sept. 16 and Sunday, Sept. 17 on Washington Avenue in Cedarburg.

The family-friendly fall festival will feature hundreds of artists and vendors, plenty of fair-worthy foods, live music and a wide variety of autumnal activities for attendees of all ages.

Live music 

Live music will be available at the Gruber Law Office Main Stage, which will feature local favorites including Cream City Blu and DebuTaunt along with Boo! The Band, Sam Grady, String Along and the Rockadials. Grab a beer from the Fermentorium Tap Tent to enjoy alongside.

Art of Joy’s Party in the Park Music Festival at Cedar Creek Park will offer live music from artists like Another One, Wolves with Virginia and The Myles & Amanda Jazztet  from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Fall activities

“Art on the Avenue” will feature juried artists showcasing their work all along Washington Avenue and adjacent streets.

Guests can also check out the Great Pumpkin Growers Weigh-Off on Saturday, featuring large scale pumpkins, tomatoes, gourds and other amazing giants or stop by on Sunday for the hilarious Giant Pumpkin Charity Regatta at 2 p.m., where participants paddle their floatable pumpkins (carved earlier that day in a competition) across Cedar Creek to win cash for charity.

New: Harvest Alley

This year, guests can peruse and purchase a wide range of fall produce at the brand new farmers market Harvest Alley on Columbia Avenue, as well as purchase locally produced items at three additional Marketplaces located at Turner Street, Mill Street and Cleveland Street which will feature honey, syrup, cheese, sausage and jellies.

Know before you go

Parking is available at Fireman’s Park, a short walk from the North end of the Festival grounds, and also at the Cedarburg High School. Shuttles will be available from the parking lots, and to and from the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts.

Festival hours are Saturday, Sept.16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (with extended hours on Saturday at the Main Stage) and Sunday, Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
