Last Thursday night while walking up to Nostalgia 1, a tavern on Milwaukee's North Side, legendary Milwaukee DJ and radio show host Maurice "Doc B" Beckley was shot in the head. The incident is not believed to have been a direct attack on Beckley sources have informed me, but instead a case of being at the wrong place, at the wrong time.

Doc B was taken to Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital by paramedics where he received medical attention and is recovering, sources said. People are being asked to not call or visit at this time.

Police are still looking for suspects so if you have any information about the shooting, please call (414) 935-7360.
