Centerfielder Bill Hall, who was sidelined before the all-star break with a sprained ankle, was reinstated from the 15-day disabled list this afternoon and will be in the Brewers starting lineup tonight in Cincinnati.

In order to clear a roster spot for Hall, the Brewers optioned Tony Gwynn, Jr., to the Class AAA Nashville. Gwynn, who anticipated the move last week, was slated to leave the team Saturday and Sunday in order to attend his father's induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, N.Y.
