If the longest day of the year isn’t reason enough to celebrate – after all, it’s the opposite of that December day in which you leave for work in darkness and return home in darkness – Milwaukee’s Third Space Brewing is partnering with nearly 40 Wisconsin taps in celebrating, "The Happiest Day of the Year."

On Friday, June 21 – the Summer Solstice – Third Space employees will arrive at the Menomonee Valley brewery before sunrise to keg a just-brewed batch of Happy Place Midwest Pale Ale which will be delivered to 38 Milwaukee- and Madison-area bars and restaurants so that you can enjoy every minute of the longest day of 2019 with the freshest beer possible.

"Typically, the process of moving beer from a brewery’s cellaring tanks to the customer’s glass will take weeks to accomplish, even in the best-case scenario" said Dave Cartwright of Beechwood Sales and Service, the beer distributor that will actually do the delivery of the kegs.

"To accomplish that feat in less than 24 hours will be a difficult task that will take coordination and significant effort by many people. But the opportunity to experience and share super fresh Happy Place will be well worth the effort."

"Beer tastes best when it’s fresh and beer from your local brewery is more likely to be fresh, especially a high-demand and popular beer like Happy Place," said Paul Mott, Third Space Brewing’s sales manager.

"We wanted to give our customers a special experience that only brewery employees typically get to enjoy: drinking beer at its freshest possible point" added Kevin Wright, Third Space co-founder and brewmaster.
