La Piña, a tequila and mezcal bar, opened a year ago at at 1801 S. 3rd St. To celebrate the milestone, the lounge will host a weekend of festivities from Friday, May 3 though Sunday, May 5 (which is also Cinco de Mayo Day.)

"We’re pulling out all the stops to thank our incredible customers for their unwavering support," says owner Patrick Todd.

The celebratory weekend will include drink specials, tequila tastings, local DJs and giveaways, including the chance for one customer to win margaritas for a year.

Plus, the bar has many surprises planned from impromptu rare agave tastings, bottle giveaways and a Sunday Funday party.

"We can't wait to toast to one amazing year and look forward to many more to come," says Todd.
