The only man in Brewers history to throw a no-hitter has surfaced in the headlines.

Well, he's in the transactions column, anyway.

The Chicago White Sox named Juan Nieves as their bullpen coach, replacing Art Kusnyer on manager Ozzie Guillen's staff.

Nieves, who pitched for Milwaukee from 1986-'88 before succumbing to arm problems, threw a no-hitter against Baltimore during the Brewers' 13-game winning streak to start the 1987 season.

Nieves, had been pitching coach at Class AAA Charlotte, Chicago's top affiliate. He will assist pitching coach Don Cooper and try to improve the White Sox's horrible bullpen.
