ST. LOUIS – Here at Busch Stadium, the skies are still gloomy but there is no tarp on the field, which is promising when you consider the forecast has called for rain all day long.

Ron Roenicke will be in the media room shortly and you can bet that many of the questions will focus on his lineup, which has Mark Kotsay batting second and playing center field.

Neither Carlos Gomez of Nyjer Morgan are in the lineup tonight against Cardinals right-hander Chris Carpenter.
