When Pizza Man burned down in January, restaurant owner Deanna Amidzich said the iconic bar and restaurant would return. A few recent, cryptic Tweets from Amidizich suggested that she had found a new home Pizza Man. However, she is, at this point unwilling to disclose anything definite.

"We have a location in mind, but we’re in a limbo pattern right now. We want to reopen, but it depends now on whether or not we get financing," says Amidzich.

Amidzich says she scouted more than 20 properties before finding the one she hopes will soon house the new Pizza Man. She says the location is not on the East Side.

"I can’t say anything more just yet. It really depends on financing. I should know more in two or three weeks," she says.

Amidzich says it has been a busy year of dealing with insurance companies, trying to secure financing, looking at possible restaurant spaces and working on a margarita business called Stinky Gringo.

"We really hope we can reopen Pizza Man," she says.
