Sprecher Brewing is bringing its family friendly Soda with Santa event back to its Glendale brewery, 701 W. Glendale Ave., on a string of Sundays.

The holiday tour and soda sampling event, with an appearance by jolly ol' Saint Nick, takes place Nov. 17 and 26, and Dec. 3, 10 and 17, with sessions at 11:30 a.m., 1:30, 3, 4 and 5 p.m.

Advance tickets are required for everyone present and you can book at sprecherbrewery.com/blogs/blog/soda-with-santa-2023-dates.

Tours are $12 for adults and $8 for minors plus a $1 ticketing fee. That includes a commemorative glass, unlimited soda samples and adults 21 and up get four 8-ounce beer samples. To snare a picture with Santa, families must commit to purchasing a 12-pack or more of custom root beer labels at $2.25 a bottle.

Guests who want a picture with Santa must arrive 45 minutes before their tour time for the photo, which will adorn the soda bottle labels.

The custom labels will be available shortly after their tour is completed, but if you're willing to wait 48 hours to pick up your custom label order you'll get an additional four-pack of root beer featuring their custom labels for free.

Guests can also choose to have their picture with Santa emailed to them for $10.

“This fun event, allows families to not only tour our brewery but also have their picture taken with Santa if they want to create a custom root beer label that is the perfect holiday gift,” says Sprecher Director of Hospitality, Caroline O’Halloran.
