Double down on action-packed excitement at The Temporary by American Place. The Midwest’s hottest new casino, less than an hour south of Milwaukee!

The Fatty Patty, a food truck which has earned a following of loyal fans serving up jumbo halal burgers, chicken sandwiches and gyros, will be opening its first brick and mortar location at 1119 S. 108th St. in West Allis.  That’s the former home of Alphonso’s the Original, which moved to its new Greenfield Ave. location last June.

The new carry-out and delivery location will officially open its doors on Saturday, March 4 at 11 a.m., offering a full menu of The Fatty Patty favorites, plus a few new additions.

Owner Abdullah Ismail, who designed the look and feel of the new location with help from his wife, Nour, says they are excited to expand their reach with a location in West Allis.

“This is a high traffic area that’s located in an area that we don’t currently serve. So we’re going to give it a try,” says Ismail. “We’re excited to serve a new audience in the West Allis and New Berlin area.”

On the menu

Ismail emphasizes that The Fatty Patty Brand remains true to its commitment to using only halal meats. In addition, the beef for their jumbo burgers is ground in house, with patties that are made fresh daily.

Their selection of burgers include the bare burger (just a burger and bun), cheeseburger and signatures like The Fatty Patty (double house beef patties, American cheese, turkey bacon, jalapeno popper, avocado mayo, lettuce, tomato and onions); the Gloppy Burger (double house beef patties, American cheese, Swiss cheese, crunchy fried onions, turkey bacon, mayo, sliced pickles and lettuce); the Fix Mix (house beef patty, egg, grilled onion, avocado, turkey bacon, ranch and American cheese); and the popular Fire Ring Burger (house beef patty, Swiss cheese, an onion ring, Sriracha mayo, jalapenos and lettuce).

Meanwhile, plant-based options will include the Bean Queen (black bean patty, crushed fried onions, avocado sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onion) and the Fryer Buyer (fried eggplant, onion rings, sauteed mushroom and onion, avocado sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onions).

Ismail says they will also be expanding their offerings to include a gyro platter (featuring gyro meat, pita, rice, tzatziki, banana peppers, onions tomato and feta; chicken tenders and a spicy chicken sandwich, which features their classic breaded chicken topped with the same spicy sauce that makes their Fire Ring Burger shine.

They will also debut a selection of beverages including lemonade, iced tea and ayran, a yogurt-based drink prized for its ability to calm the digestive system.

The Fatty Patty will continue to serve customers at both of their existing food truck locations: Downtown at Water Street and Juneau Ave and in Wauwatosa at 92nd and Burleigh.

The Fatty Patty West Allis will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Ismail says their hours may be extended to 9 p.m. if demand warrants.

Guests can also check out their Facebook and Instagram pages for a special grand opening promotion.
