This was a close battle. The top three vote-getters in "best non-Irish pub" were neck and neck and neck, but Cafe Benelux narrowly came out on top. This is the first win for the unique restaurant and bar at 346 N. Broadway.

A big part of Benelux's success is due to its beautiful rooftop patio. The second-story open-air dining space offers a great view from atop the former Good Harvest Market space, something diners are more than willing to take advantage of during the warmer summer months.

The restaurant still has plenty to offer inside, too. Cafe Benelux specializes in European fare, but Benelux also serves up half-pound burgers, mussels and the sweet and savory pannenkoeken, a large thin pancake that is standard fare in The Netherlands.
