How are we supposed to shorten up "BMO Harris Bradley Center?"

What should we call the BMO Harris Bradley Center?

So we have a new name for our arena Downtown.

That's nice, but it presents a problem for those of us who refer to the Bradley Center as the "BC." That phrase has been made famous by local sports talk and TV guys.

But they can't use it now that the place is the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

So what can we do for a snappy abbreviation for the facility?

It could be the BBC (B Bradley Center). Or maybe the Beemer.

Maybe we could call it the "Buh-moh." That's just a pronunciation guide.

I'm not good at this kind of thing, so any help would be appreciated.

I'm going to just keep calling it The Bradley Center.

How about The Bradley Center? I still like LLoyd and Jane's reason for the original donation.

The Bank. Or, "El Banco." People took to the Cell fairly quickly and Ted Davis' call to end winning Bucks' games is "it's in the bank and drawing interest." Bank on it.

JS hire ruffles feathers

The Journal Sentinel just hired someone named David Paulsen to be its new Breaking News Editor. Paulsen comes to the paper after stints as a reporter in Wausau and Poughkeepsie, N. Y. and two years at Fox News. Well, when the announcement was made the cries from staffers in the newsroom in Downtown Milwaukee could be heard throughout the civilized world.

In an effort to get a few headlines of her own and steal NBC`s thunder, Barbara Walters` official announcement of her exit comes mere hours before NBC`s Upfront ... It was masterful timing.

Team should go all in

The Milwaukee Bucks are looking for a new head coach and some new players following the team`s first playoff appearance in three seasons. Owner Sen. Herb Kohl is willing to sell the team, perhaps bring in a partner - or partners - and there is a need for a new arena. It`s time for the Bucks to go "all in."
