Miller Lite Oasis headliners announced
Summerfest officials have announced the lineup of headliners slated for the Miller Lite Oasis.
The stage will host the following headliners:
June 27 – 10 p.m.: Kool & the Gang
June 28 – 6:30 p.m. Josh Thompson (Country Throwdown Tour); 8 p.m. Rodney Atkins (Country Throwdown Tour); 10 p.m. Gary Allan (Country Throwdown Tour)
June 29 – 10 p.m. TBD
June 30 – 10 p.m. The Roots
July 1 – 10 p.m. Robyn
July 3 – 10 p.m. Joe Walsh
July 4 – 10 p.m. Ziggy Marley
July 5 – 10 p.m. TBD
July 6 – 6:30 p.m. Atmosphere; 10 p.m. Paul Oakenfold
July 7 – 10 p.m. Cake
July 8 – 10 p.m. Sublime with Rome
Summerfest 2012 will take place June 27-July 1 and July 3-8 from noon to midnight. The festival will be closed Monday, July 2.

I agree with devidia. The lineups this year are pretty week IMO. Aerosmith is a big name for the Marcus though.

I am with EastSideMKE. I am completely encouraged by what we have seen of the line up so far. I have never really been one for the amplitheater or super sized concerts like that, but the free stage headliners are looking great to me so far. I thought last year was an improvement and this looks to be improved over that!

@devidia, you can't be serious?! This is one of the best lineups, if not the best, I have ever seen. Granted, the big acts at the Marcus Amphitheatre are totally awful this year (too much country, isn't this why we have Hodag?), but the free stages couldn't be better IMO. Atmosphere, the Roots, Fitz and the Tantrums, 311, Sublime, Lupe Fiasco, Ziggy Marley, Thievery Corporation, Ben Folds, and Common, yep terrible (rolling my eyes at you).

I swear that this Summerfest lineup this year is so lame that....... .........aaaaaah, I don't have the energy anymore.
