It may look like your typical '70s Chinese restaurant, complete with crimson and gold decor, wood panel walls and lilly pad fixtures on the ceiling, but order anything off the menu and you'll taste some great Chinese cuisine.

Winners of numerous local awards, the Emperor of China serves Cantonese and Szechwan at reasonable prices.

Our daughters go to Marquette University, and we enjoy trying different restaurants when we go to visit. On your recommendation, we went to Emperor of China to celebrate Chinese New Year today. Everyone in our group of 8 loved it. The food, both quality and quantity, was excellent. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely go back there.
