Description [edit]
Often voted Milwaukee's best sushi bar, Izumi's is a wonderfully cozy sushi bar and Japanese restaurant in the heart of Milwaukee's East Side. In addition to fresh sushi and sashimi, Izumi's has a full Japanese menu catering to those who want their food cooked a little more.

We used a restaurant.com certificate which required a $35 purchase for a $25 discount. We ordered $70 worth of food and were going to also purchase some happy hour drinks and appetizers. We were told happy hour prices were not available to us, on drinks or food, because we were using the certificate. As a result, they lost $40 in purchase because of their refusal to honor their happy hour prices. Our purchase of meals at regular prices more than exceeded the requirement of the certificate. They even charged us full prices on our drinks purchased during happy hour!! The shrimp was tough, the owner unpleasant to deal with. The result - we will never go back!

The picture here is of the old Izumi's location. Their new location is a reddish brick building just south of their old location.
