The Milwaukee County Historical Society was founded in 1935 to collect, preserve and make available materials relating to the history of the Milwaukee community. Through a broad range of activities, the Society seeks to promote a greater appreciation of the Milwaukee community's rich heritage and a better understanding of life today.

Learn about the life and legacy of one of Milwaukee’s native sons: Alan Kulwicki, a NASCAR Winston Cup Series racecar driver. From his humble beginnings in Milwaukee to becoming a champion in Atlanta, Alan’s life & legacy represent themes that embody Milwaukee, as well as the people and business that are proud to call her home. Utilizing traditional and cutting-edge technology, the Milwaukee County Historical Society, in partnership with Balance Studios, Inc., presents an experience centered on Alan Kulwicki’s life that will inspire, inform, and educate. General admission will be $5. Members's admission is free throughout the exhibit.
