Last year, Jeremy Shamrowicz and his team at Flux Design were in the spotlight for home renovations on "Made In Milwaukee" on the DIY network.

For those of you that missed the shows the first time around, DIY will re-run a number of episodes in April.

"When DIY Network did a show with us featuring residential makeovers, we were really excited about the opportunity to showcase our own talents, but to also show off Milwaukee’s development as an artistic community. A year later, and we’re still excited," Shamrowicz said.

"The fact that it’s airing again gives people a chance to see what they might have missed, and we’re thrilled about that."

The first re-run highlights an outdated basement overhaul at 6:30 a.m. a week from today on April 4. On April 18, a mini-marathon of shows will air that Friday morning. You can find the complete schedule here.

"People are still coming up to us on the street and asking if we’re the same guys from the show, and that’s always fun," Shamrowicz, who went by the name Jeremy Sham on the show, said. "It’s also fun for us to see how far we’ve come professionally since the show aired."

When network shows are airing on traditional season schedules, people are always wondering if a second season of shows have been ordered. In the cable world, the timetables are different, but fans of the locally-based DIY show keep asking if more shows are going to air.

"People keep asking us when the next season is coming out, and we can’t say too much except that things are constantly in development," he said. "We loved doing the residential renovations, but we’d like to expand the scope of the show to include some of the commercial stuff we do, as well."

With the commercial work the shop has done, they make sure their signature design touches of wood with metal are included.

"We’ve done more than fifty bars and restaurants in Milwaukee and the surrounding area," he said. "Chances are really good that if you’ve gone out to eat or have a drink, you’ve been in one of our places."

KATE PLUS 8 UPDATE: Last week TLC announced that Kate Gosselin and her children will return to the cable outlet for a special this summer.

From 2007 to 2009, "Jon & Kate Plus 8" featuring the lives of Kate and Jon and their children – twins Cara and Mandy and younger sextuplets Alexis, Aaden, Collin, Hannah, Leah and Joel – was one of the most-watched programs on television.

As the relationship went rocky, everyone weighed in on the seemingly-doomed marriage to those wondering if the children would ever adapt to a day when a camera crew isn’t following them around. In 2009, the couple divorced and the rebranded "Kate Plus 8" aired until its cancellation in 2011.

According to TLC, the one-hour special will offer an update on the children and how they have grown since being on the air. Kate Gosselin will talk about her life as a single mom, and the family will present favorite highlights from the series.

FIANCIAL PLANNING: Fox News will debut "Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo" at 9 a.m. on Sunday.

Anchored by Bartiromo, a leading business journalist, the show will focus on the intersection of commerce and news events, offering viewers in-depth analysis on recent developments in the economy. Each week, Bartiromo will interview business leaders and industry newsmakers on topics such as job creation and investment opportunities, providing viewers with an inside look at how to prepare financially for the future.
