River Rhythms announces its 2012 summer line-up
Live acts for the Westown Association's free concert series are lined up and ready for summer.
The 2012 River Rhythms series begins June 13 and offers new music every Wednesday through Aug. 29 (except July 4). Concerts run from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in Pere Marquette Park.
There's no charge for River Rhythms performances, but proceeds from on-site wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverage and food sales will help support the family-friendly series.
Carry-ins, including alcohol, are allowed.
The 2012 River Rhythms line-up:
June 13 – Fresh Cut Collective
June 20 – Brother
June 27 – Steve Cohen Blues Allstars with Junior Brantley & Greg Koch
July 11 – Jeanna Salzer Trio & The Crooked Keys
July 18 – Madison County
July 25 – Milwaukee Battle of the Bands
Aug. 1 – Madisalsa
Aug. 8 – Trapper Schoepp & The Shades
Aug. 15 – Skerryvore
Aug. 22 – Five Card Studs
Aug. 29 – Pat McCurdy

What a great line up of bands. So nice to see local Milwaukee acts that do their own music booked at something like this! Great job River Rhythms!

Looks good, but no Sindoola? Had such a great tome at their show last summer.
