City Hall clock is ticking once again

I noticed this weekend that Milwaukee's City Hall clock is once again telling the correct time.

The clock officially started ticking again on Friday.

It had been stuck at (technically placed at, by the city facilities manager) 12 o'clock since early October when new parts were ordered. And, even though the hands hadn't moved in months the chimes still worked tolling on the hour and half-hours.

In December 2008, the clock was restored to its translucent face originally designed by architect H.C. Koch in 1893.
