New MMA Themed Television Show Hits Milwaukee in Novemeber

The Wisconsin airwaves are about to get invaded every Saturday night in November with a new television program dedicated to the area's combative sports scene.
Beginning on November 10, "WI MMA Today" will air the first of 13 episodes on WCGV-TV My 24 in an effort to showcase the area's adult mixed martial arts and youth Pankration scene to the hardcore followers as well as a brand new audience.
Hosted by Scott Joffe, Duke Roufus, Anthony Pettis, and joined by US Combat Sports Reporter Paul Fladten, the weekly 30-minute program is set to feature fight highlights, human interest stories, training tips, and other intriguing segments.
The program's debut episode - which will air one week after NAFC "Armageddon" - is set to include footage from the November 3rd combative event that takes place at the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds. Both MMA and Pankration bouts will be shown.
The biggest partner involved with the North American Fighting Championship in terms of "WI MMA Today" is the Wisconsin National Guard. The program should reach a large number of the National Guard's intended demographic.
Set to air on WCGV-TV, a station owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, the television audience will include most of southeastern Wisconsin, including Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Sheboygan, and Waukesha. As for a larger scale, the episodes will be made available on the NAFC's YouTube channel every Monday following its television airing.
Without question the development and production of a brand new combative sports-based television show should be celebrated for fighters, promoters, gyms, and fans throughout the area.
It is another example of the success Wisconsin has had within the fight community and a watershed moment for the sport's popularity in the area. Over the next few weeks more details will be unveiled about the upcoming season of "WI MMA Today".
