Lockjaw, W.O.R.M., Samyaza Friday, 2 November at Club Anything

Friday night brings together three energetic regional industrial /metal bands at Club Anything, 807 S. 5th Street in Milwaukee.
The singer and guitarist of locals Lockjaw, Medavon, celebrates his birthday with this
party. Counting as their musical influences bands as diverse as Nine Inch Nails, Motley Crue, and Christian
Death, the band's brand of music (which they've labeled "hell rock") has been described as having "abrasive vocals, dark chord progressions, and machine gun-like electronics". Their 8th studio album, "White Lies, Black Heart", was released
on Dark Drug Records earlier this year and brings the band's industrial-fused metal with bluesy darkness to the masses.
Mastered by David Donnelly (Aerosmith, Kiss, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Ministry), this most recent effort is a sensory overload highlighted by some melodic tracks.
Four-piece windy city-based industrial rock band WORM (which stands for the World Organization
of the Righteous Movement) is on Ain Records/Invisible Records. Founded in 1998, they count bands ranging
from Pink Floyd to AC/DC to Ministry among their musical influences.
Samyaza, from Milwaukee, is an unsigned metal outfit whose influences include Pantera, White
Zombie, and Black Sabbath, among others. With a headbanging groove and down-to-earth lyrics, this four piece will
unleash its energy upon the unsuspecting audience.
Doors are at 9 pm, show starts at 10. $7 cover.
