Downtown Milwaukee has many under used parking garage roof tops and parking lots that are dying for off peak activity. So, hats off to the Westown Association for acting on their ideas to activate a parking lot this summer on 4th Street and Wisconsin Avenue.

We were going to say that A Fish Fry and A Flick, which kicks off this week at Pier Wisconsin, starts with a hangover, but really it starts with "The Hangover," last year's comedic romp through Vegas.

Last week I told you about going to Fish Fry & A Flick at the lakefront next to Discovery World. The food, by Bartolotta's catering, is fab, there's a free movie and the scene is a great one. This week, the movie is "Dark Side of the Rainbow -- Wizard of Oz with the Music of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon."
