At OnMilwaukee.com we've known and lived this for years. But, it's great to see recognition for Milwaukee on a new list from Technie.com. Milwaukee ranks, with nine others, on this new list of "10 Most Unexpected Cities for High-Tech Innovation."

We don't "hear" about anything anymore. We "see" it all...on Facebook. Is there still such a thing as a "catch-up" between old friends? Is there any mystery left?

At last count, I have about eight active passwords to remember during the course of a regular week. And, every now and then or even fairly often, I get asked to change the password for security's sake. To which I say: "Arrrrrrrghhh!"

It feels like not a week goes by without someone posting something about how Facebook's invading everyone's privacy, spying on your browser history, etc., ad nauseum. (These posts are usually made on Facebook, by the way.) I understand the generic concern over the Orwellian slippery slope, but it doesn't take me too long to re-assess and arrive back at my old conclusion: Who cares?
