Chill on the Hill announces 2012 lineup
The Bay View Neighborhood Association has announced the lineup for this year's Chill on the Hill concert series.
The outdoor concert series will feature live local music Tuesday nights from June 5 to Aug. 28 at Humboldt Park. Openers start at 6 p.m. and main acts perform 6:30-8:30 p.m.
The 2012 lineup is below:
June 5 – Reverend Raven and the Chain Smoking Altar Boys
June 12 – Brian Smith from God's Outlaw (opener); Honkytonkitis, The Carpetbaggers
June 19 – Sophia's Heart Chorus (opener); The Squeezettes
June 26 – Great Lake Drifters, Vitrolum Republic
July 3 – American Legion Band
July 10 – Natassja Bates (opener); Opus Jazz
July 17 – Fresh Cut Collective
July 24 – Dick Satan Trio, The Exotics
July 31 – Magnificent Performing Strings (opener); I Am Not a Pilot
Aug. 7 – Iron Jawed Angels (opener); Orpheus, The Bottom Line
Aug. 14 – Kinsella Academy of Irish Dance (opener); The Gleasons
Aug. 21 – The Barrettes, Venus in Furs
Aug. 28 – D'Calleson
