"Bar Month" at OnMilwaukee is back for another round, brought to you by Great Northern Distilling: grain to glass spirits, handmade in Wisconsin. The whole month of March, we're serving up intoxicatingly fun articles on bars and clubs – including guides, the latest trends, bar reviews, the results of our Best of Bars readers poll and more. Grab a designated driver and dive in!

The crack of the bat, the roar of the crowd. The scent of fresh-cut grass and lukewarm hot dogs. The majesty of a Hail Mary touchdown pass or soaring slam dunk. The tactile sensation of clapping one's hands together in an applauding manner.

The sights, sounds, smells and feels of live games are a huge part of what makes sports so great. But, if you're unable to attend in person, you can somewhat satisfactorily simulate the sensory experience of actually being there by sitting at a bar, drinking alcohol and watching the sports on giant television screens.

And, if you decide to go that route, Milwaukeeans selected Steny's the best place for such sports fandom for the third straight year. The Walker's Point tavern, opened in 1985, is a favorite spot for watching Packers and Brewers games – it also claims to be an official Chicago Blackhawks bar – and offers shuttles to Miller Park and the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Steny's has an extensive beer selection and a particularly popular bloody Mary.

Leff's Lucky Town, which was chosen by the OnMilwaukee staff, finished a close second in the reader vote.
