Sean Pliss will soon offer a new concept in the former Catch 22, 770 N. Milwaukee St., and he wants the public to be a part of the development process. Pliss says he will soon release a docuseries via social media that will invite viewers to witness the naming and planning of his new business.

"We know for sure it's going to be a cocktail lounge and event space and that we will work with caterers rather than make our own food, but the rest it yet-to-be-decided," says Pliss.

Pliss says he decided to do a docuseries because he believes the public is curious about the behind-the-scenes stuff involved with opening a business and wants future customers to feel a part of the process.

"Soon we will announce where people can watch our 5-10 minute social media videos to see more of what we're thinking for concept, name and design," says Pliss. "This is something different and I think a lot of people will find it interesting."

He hopes to open the new spot in the fall of 2019.

Pliss is currently the food and beverage specialist for Crescent Hotels & Resorts and was the former owner of Matador Taco and Oak Lounge. Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more information about how and where to watch this preview docuseries.
